DM8
The DM8 frame uses the "panto" shape, the most popular shape of all time. Round at the bottom and flat at the top, the DM8 shape is the best possible shape for progressive lenses, bifocals, and any single vision uses, including sunglasses. We have this frame made in a family-owned eyewear factory nestled in the Dolomite Mountains of Italy, the birthplace of the world's eyewear industry.
The frame is made with Alpaca, a special material used in eyewear for over a century. Composed mostly of copper, but also some stiffening metal, the material holds its shape well but can also be adjusted for a perfect fit. All frames are hand made with Italian hinges, hand-finished and assembled in Italy.
Almost identical to the Shuron Ronstrong frame which is one of the best-selling frames of all time, the DM8 Skull glasses are made in Italy to a much higher quality standard than the Ronstrong.
The overall frame width is 111mm for the size 40 frame, and 115mm for the size 42 frame, 122mm for the size 44 frame.
